TEF gives you an opportunity to get an in-depth knowledge of communication and leadership skills by participating in Online Live discussions. Online Live discussions are live discussions conducted through SKYPE by a TEF Moderator.
You will learn how to navigate a discussion without letting it go astray. How conflict situations and different type of people are dealt with. You will be given feedback by our moderators possessing international training experience. You will be given a feedback on tone, accent, pronunciation and everything pertaining to communication and leadership skills.
The purpose of these discussion is not limited to teaching English, but its aim is to enhance overall leadership aspect of a persona. As you gain confidence, you are welcome to become volunteer to moderate a discussion. Participation in such activities will make you comfortable with day to day formal discussions.
Online live discussions are **absolutely free** of charge.
STEPS TO JOIN ONLINE LIVE DISCUSSIONS (Let’s talk guidelines):-
1. 1. In order to join online live discussions, you must have a SKYPE ID first.
2. 2. What is SKYPE? Skype is a software application that allows users to make voice calls over the Internet. You can download skype for free by clicking on the link:- http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/
3. 3. Get a skype id after downloading the application. SKYPE ID is a unique id similar to your mail id.
4. 4. You can login to SKYPE using your SKYPE ID/password and get started.
5. 5. You will have ECHO/SOUND TEST service added to your contacts by default. Click on the link to make a test call. This is done to test your microphone.
6. 6. Go to ADD CONTACT under CONTACTS section and type “theenglishforum” in the blank space and click on FIND. Add us to your list and we will receive a notification. Now you are ready to speak to us through SKYPE.
7. 7. You need to have a www.theenglishforum.com/beta user id/password. Now you can register yourself for ONLINE LIVE DISCUSSION as per the schedule.
8. 8. If you are an old user who did not update your SKYPE ID earlier, you can do it now by clicking on My account/Edit/Contact.
